The Sertoma GRIN IRON CLASSIC (yes, it's GRIN, rather than GRID) is the East/West All-Star High School Football Game for Southwest Missouri. The event derives its name from the fact that the GRIN IRON CLASSIC (GIC) is the signature event of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile of the Ozarks, very fondly known as “The Tooth Truck” -- a mobile dental clinic for at risk children who live right here in the Ozarks.

Each year, the Southwest Missouri Coaches Association chooses the best graduated seniors in the area to play in the GIC, along with a coaching staff for each team. For most players, this is one of the highlights of their high school football careers.

In addition to the giant efforts of the Southwest Missouri Coaches Association, the event is coordinated by the All-Star Smiles Sertoma Club, an organization that was formed to support the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. In the past six years, over $200,000 has been raised to support the "Tooth Truck" through the GRIN IRON CLASSIC, thanks to many generous sponsors (see Sponsors link).
